Admission Schedule for International Student at Spring 2008






◎ Admission
1. Undergraduate Program
A complete 12-year-education from elementary school to high school.

2. Master's Program and Combined Graduate Program for Doctoral Degree
A prerequisite bachelor degree or equivalent degree.

3. Doctoral Program
A prerequisite master degree or equivalent degree.

4. Required documents
i. Undergraduate program
-Application form
-Certificate of high school graduation
-Official transcripts from elementary to high school
-Copy of ID card or passport
-Document of financial support
-Study plan
-Copy of family registration (including family members)-only Chinese students
- A photo(3*4)

**Korean Language Test(Olny Undergraduate Program)
:All the international students who have received over 1 year of Korean language training in Korea or those who obtain KLPT(Korean Language Proficiency Test) Level 4 can only apply for the regular bachelor degree course.

- Early December for the Spring semester

7. Tuition Payment
- 3rd week of for the spring semester
* The amount of tuition will be notified to you by e-mail, and the balance difference will be reimbursed or must be paid later.

Kangwon National University is one of ten core national universities located in Chuncheon, the capital of G(K)angwon Province in Korea। Korea has a juridical system with eight provinces and two metropolitan cities, each of which has one of those core national universities.

1947 Established Chuncheon Provincial Agricultural College (of G(K)angwon Province) -

1952 Changed the College name to Chuncheon Agricultural College.

1991. 03. 01 The College of Humanities and Social Science divided into the College of Social Science and the College of Humanities, established Graduate School of Industry

2000. 05. 18 Established Kangwon National University Hospital

2002. 03. 01 Established the College of Law School

2004. 01. 10 Established the Industrial Cooperation company of the Kangwon University (Special Cooperation)

08. 05 Dr. Choi, Hyunseop took up office as the 8th president of the university
